Last April you
voted for your favorite Native American casinos in a number of
categories based on your experiences the preceding 12 months.
The votes have been counted and the winners in each category for
each state are listed here.
Each category
represents a specific facet of a property's overall appeal and
charm. While expansive casino destination resorts dominate
several categories, some mid-sized casinos took top honors in
the ever-important customer service areas. While large casinos
in metropolitan and tourist areas attract greater numbers of
guests (and logically more survey voters), smaller properties
must build and maintain player loyalty with attention to the
details that set them apart. The front-line employees at these
properties do their best to make sure all their guests, win or
lose, leave with smiles on their faces and good memories of
their visits.
We know the
results of this survey will assist you in planning your gaming
getaways throughout the coming year.
Because very few
Native American casinos are located in Iowa and Kansas, only
1st-place ribbons were awarded in both states. The overwhelming
choice of voters in all gaming and hospitality categories in
both states are Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel in Iowa and Prairie
Band Casino & Resort in Kansas.
